I’m Ricky Nelson, a UW Oshkosh journalism graduate and baseball fan.

Thanks to the current journalism market, I am also unemployed. This blog will be updated as long as that is true, but this blog will probably be active even if I am employed. If you happen to have a paying sports journalism job for me, I’m all ears.

I also operate an NCAA Division-III volleyball blog – with heavy emphasis on UW Oshkosh and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference news – at http://uwoshvball.wordpress.com/. And if you like volleyball, I also co-created a 2007 University of Wisconsin Oshkosh site for a journalism class. Despite the fact that I did it in college, the site isn’t bad.
